The Morris County 4-H Fair needs your help. It takes many Heads, Hearts, Hands, and Helpers to put this event together. This page has information on volunteer jobs and opportunities starting way before the Fair opens. Reach out to the office to learn more or click on the Signup links below when available.

July 18 - Saturday, 9am-1pm - Fair Setup starts + Family Fun Day at High View Farms
(Rain date: Sunday, July 19)
Help with Fair set-up and clean-up is needed starting the weekend before the Fair opening, and immediately following Fair closing.
July 18, Saturday - see above
July 20-24, Monday - Friday morning: 4-H clubs, families, and volunteers needed to set up fairgrounds. Especially Wednesday and Thursday! Contact us if you are available to see where you can help.
July 27-29 - Clean-up starts at 4pm on Sunday, July 26 and everyone pitches in. Help is also needed Monday-Wednesday after the Fair to ensure everything is packed away and brought back to the 4-H office.

Info Booth:
(Answer fairgoer questions, sell 4-H merch, and promote the 4-H program. Youth volunteers welcome with adult assistance.)
50/50 Ticket Seller:
(50/50 Ticket Sellers who walk around the fairgrounds. Must be 18+ years for this job.)
Country Store:
(Volunteers are needed to help organize, restock, and sell items in the Country Store. Open to volunteers of all ages.)
Dining Area:
(Help keep the dining areas beautiful)
Vendor/Sponsor Area:
(Help vendors and sponsors with setup and other tasks)
General Fair / Tidy Crew:
(Assist Fair managers with general tasks and help at scheduled events)
Hospitality Station Donations
Donations of snacks for the Volunteer Hospitality station will be greatly appreciated. They can be brought to the Family setup day on July 18 or Monday-Friday, July 20-24 before the Fair opens.
Country Store Donations
Donate new or gently used items (no clothes, no fragile glass etc.) for the "Country Store" at the Fair. Donations can be brought directly to High View Farms starting July 1 (text Rosanne first at 908-303-0010) or during Fair setup on July 18 until Fair starts on 7/24
All clubs, 4-H families, and local businesses are invited to donate a basket for the basket raffle at the Fair, which is a fundraiser to offset the cost of the Fair and support the 4-H programs throughout the year. The basket raffle letter can be found here and baskets can be brought to the Fair set-up days before Fair starts (July 18, 20-23).
The take-down starts right after the Fair ends on Sunday, July 26 at 4pm and continues until Wednesday, July 29.

Please note that only 4-H project dogs and official service dogs like Seeing Eye Dogs and Seeing Eye Puppies, are allowed at the Fairgrounds.
