Ready, Set, Grow - with 4-H

Welcome to the Morris County 4-H 2021 summer celebration!

We are so excited to share this month-long event with everyone. Our team of 4-H members, families, clubs, and volunteers have so many activities planned. Be sure to check out the full list and sign up early to participate in specific activities.

2021 Theme

No celebration would be complete without a theme. The theme for this year’s Morris County 4-H summer celebration is “Ready, Set, Grow with 4-H” which was submitted by 4-H member, Sammy. Congratulations Sammy for your outstanding design! This theme can be found throughout the July activities so keep an eye out for it.

What is 4-H?

4-H is the oldest and largest youth development organization in America and is open to youth in grades Kindergarten through one year out of high school. Youth in 4-H develop life skills while they explore a variety of topics of interest in areas such as health, science, agriculture, and civic engagement. Morris County 4-H offers a number of program opportunities, including year-round 4-H clubs, which focus on a specific project area. These clubs are supported by caring, adult volunteers. Our county's 4-H clubs cover a wide range of interests. Check out our current 4-H club list and contact the 4-H office to learn more. Have an idea for a 4-H club? Let us know!

2021 4-H Graduates

Congratulations to the 2021 4-H graduates! We are so proud of you and wish you all the best in your next adventures.

Our Cloverbud graduates (youth entering 4th grade in September) are now eligible to compete in 4-H events, particiate in state level competitions, and earn special awards. Congratulations on reaching the next level of your 4-H membership!

Our high school graduates may be moving on to the next chapter in their lives, but they are still part of our 4-H community. Over the next year, they can still participate in 4-H as youth members as they begin their transition to alumni status. Congratulations on reaching this milestone! We are excited to see where your journey takes you.

4-H Scholarship Award Recipients

Lance Corporal Andrew W. Lubrano 4-H Memorial Scholarship

This is given every year to a High School Senior who has been involved in 4-H during their four years of high school. This award recognizes an active, well rounded 4-H member.

This year's Lubrano Scholarship goes to Johanna Pipoli for being one of our most dedicated 4-H members. Thank you for your strong commitment to and many years of involvement in Morris County 4-H!

Seeing Eye Scholarships for Morris County 4-H members

Each year, The Seeing Eye recognizes exceptional puppy raisers by presenting them with a college scholarship. Recipients have raised at least two dogs, have demonstrated a high level of academic achievement and are active in their communities.

Mia Hwang, member of the Puppy Tails club, and Jack Keller, member of 4-Footed Leaders, are receiving this year's Seeing Eye scholarship for their dedication in raising puppies for the world-famous dog guide school headquartered in Morristown.
